Moshi Monsters Review - Kid Friendly Website - Giveaway to Come

Like most moms, my friends and I are always on the lookout for fun, educational games for our kids online. Recently I was offered the opportunity to check out Moshi Monsters.

I had never heard of Moshi Monsters but after playing Webkinz for sooooo long I offered the opportunity to check out a new site with my kids.

We were introduced to the 6 main characters (but you can create your own)

The characters are very likable. Here is a close up of one of them....cute guy. I want to take him home and adopt him.
Here is the Moshi World

80% of the site appears to be accessible for free! Awesome...free is our favorite 4 letter word.

In A Nutshell:  This is an educational, fun way for your child to spend time online. It was easy to set up too. We got on the website, adopted a pet, dressed it up, played with it, customized it's house and started searching around. The games are great. My soon to be 5 year old loves the game and was dying to play but the games are more kids who can read. I can read them to her but since the games are timed she ran out of time. Personally, I love the games. There are some great logic games and puzzles for kids to play.

What I Can Tell You: Moshi Monsters are cute. My daughter loves them and likes playing in their room. She also enjoys walking around Moshi World and visiting others homes.

What I Can't Tell You: If the Underground Disco, Port and Gift Island are all that and a bag of chips. You need a membership to go there (this is for the Elite Moshi Monster users).  If my son ends up loving this (he has yet to play), I may get a membership (it is only $5.95 to try for a month).

If you decide to try Moshi Monsters, please let me know can I will send you my link so we can visit. Thanks to Moshi Monsters I have a fun Easter giveaway coming up tomorrow so be sure to come back.

  1. I think the site is a little too old for my daughter, but I want to play! lol The monsters are so cute, except for the guy with one eye and the cracked skull; he's kinda creepy. You always find the best kids' sites--thanks for sharing them.

  4. This is a great idea and another safe place for my kids to play. My youngest daughter is obsessed with Webkinz so I think she would really like this, too. I like that you have to have the link to find the person. That's a great safety feature.

  6. Great site for kids. I am going to send the link to my sister to check out for her kids. They are ages 4, 5, 8 and 9. They love to play on the computer and she is always in search of "safe" educational and fun sites. Thanks!

These are so stinkin' cute! My 6 yr old son was looking at it with me and, needless to say he insisted we "bookmark it now Mama before we forget!"
