Let me introduce you to Karen (the mom) of The Cubby Hole.

Tell us a little bit about yourself?

I work from home for a law office which I have been doing for close to two years now. I was tired of missing games and school activities so my husband told me to stay home and when I put in notice my boss asked if I wanted to work from home. I thought to myself how awesome would it be to set my own hours and work in my PJ's :) So I jumped at the opportunity.

I have four children a boy and girl by birth and two boys through marriage. My daughter is my partner in crime in this business and she keeps me busy with soccer, basketball and now she coaches peewee soccer at her school. She does most of her jewelry making on weekend and I work on it whenever I decide I need a break.

How did you get started?

Well my husband ask why I was buying jewelry when he knew I could make it myself. So I decided to get my daughter involved so we could have some bonding time since at 13 it isn't very cool to hang out with mom anymore.

Where do you get your inspiration?

Twilight of course :) but we are starting a mom daughter line of jewelry.

What do you love most about what you do?

I love meeting the people that I otherwise wouldn't meet if not for my store. I have made several good friends.

In 10 years I want.....

I want to be living in Kansas with my hubby. We want to have a dome home built that relies on Solar panels and wind power. I do plan to continue doing my jewelry store and raising vegetable.

In A Nutshell: I love that a mother and daughter share passion to create. I can't think of a better way to bond, than to make things born of Twilight. Remember The Cubby Hole the next time you have something to buy for someone you love.
